Product Lifetime Guarantee
At SKANWEAR® every garment is engineered without compromise, using hand selected high-quality fabrics, advanced manufacturing technology, and expert craftsmanship to deliver reliable protection and performance.
To demonstrate our confidence in these high standards we offer a product guarantee for every single item's reasonable lifetime when cared for and used as intended.
Not only do we offer a product lifetime guarantee, but when you are ready to replace your SKANWEAR® product, we will take it back and recycle it responsibly ensuring the materials are diverted from landfill and given a new purpose.
Through our recycling process, the materials are transformed into new fibre solutions, helping to maximise their environmental value and support a more circular approach to protective clothing.
What the guarantee does not cover (not exclusive)
Our guarantee covers genuine manufacturing faults or defects only and does not cover normal wear and tear. To help clarify what this means here are a few things that would not be covered:
• Wear and tear. Anything that is reaching or has reached the end of its serviceable life. For example, if a zip breaks on a heavily used item, it is usually down to wear and tear rather than a fault.
• Accidental damage. This includes rips, cuts, scuffs, tears, abrasions, odours, and stains.
• Poor aftercare. Your product should be cared for and properly maintained. Washing instructions must be followed.
• Leaking waterproofs. Waterproofs that have reached or are close to the end of their serviceable life through use.
• Damage caused by alterations made to thegarment or incorrect commercial laundering
Faulty Goods & Replacements
If you believe your product to be faulty contact us at sales@skanwear to raise your concern. We will request images to assess the fault/defect before we agree to a return.
We will review each product in line with the guarantee. If we find a genuine fault or defect in your item that should not be there based on normal use, then we will replace it for free. The Product Lifetime Guarantee does not apply for any specific set of time as each of our products have different expected product lifetime. For example, a highly technical insulated jacket will have a different expected product lifetime to a T-shirt, and other factors are taken into consideration like, condition, usage, and aftercare.
On some occasions we might ask for your item to be returned. Return your item in a clean condition as these will need to be handled by our Quality Control department. Include the returns note in your parcel for full order traceability.
